- After the washer, use a street broom to clean the area until the roof is white or the original color.

- Get a roller, it does a good job of rolling on and making the adhesive flow
- Use sandpaper for the roof surface or a drill motor with a wire disc for larger areas
- Get the basic stuff – a utility knife, scissors, and a scraper.
